Recommended Maintenance Checklist
Every 6 Months
- ☐ Wheel bearing and brake check
- ☐ Roof inspection for damage, sealant, and general condition
- ☐ LP leak test and LP regulator adjustment if needed
Annually
- ☐ Remove, clean, inspect, and repack wheel bearings with new grease; install with new seals
- ☐ Clean, inspect, and check brakes
- ☐ Seal Tech leak test for roof seams, front and rear caps, and corner moldings for air leaks
- ☐ Slide room maintenance: lubricate rails and gears, apply conditioner to rubber seals
- ☐ Air conditioner performance test and filter cleaning; LP leak test and regulator adjustment if needed
- ☐ Furnace tune-up and cleaning
- ☐ Water heater tune-up and cleaning
- ☐ Refrigerator tune-up and cleaning
- ☐ Inspect 5th wheel hitch and tighten bolts
- ☐ Inspect weight distribution assembly and tighten bolts
- ☐ Basic de-winterize: flush water lines, check for leaks, and install water heater plug
- ☐ Winterize annually
- ☐ Annual spring maintenance special
- ☐ Slide-room adjustment or diagnosis
- ☐ Basic exterior wash of sidewalls and awnings
Bi-annually
- ☐ Complete RV wash, including sidewalls, awnings, and roof
- ☐ Apply roof conditioner after washing
As Needed
- ☐ Basic exterior wash of sidewalls and awnings
- ☐ Check electric brake controller and 7-pin connector
- ☐ Pre-trip inspection:
- ☐ Check appliance operation
- ☐ Charge and test battery
